Dubai beaches are considered among the best beaches in the world. The sand on the beaches is soft and its shallow, white, warm and attractive waters invite to visit them. I have noticed that during the pleasant winter season people flock there for enjoyment. Most of the people come from other countries like Europe and Russia. I have also visited some important and attractive beaches of Dubai and found that a lot of attractions are provided on the beaches to offer complete entertainment to the visitors. These attractions include skiing, surfing, picnic spots, eateries and much more. Such attractions and facilities make the beaches more attractive. Another attraction of Dubai beaches is that you can do surfing very safely because the waves are very small and dangerous sea animals don’t exist in these waters.
How to Approach the Beaches?
To visit the beaches, you can hire a taxi or go on your own vehicle. Going to beaches via taxi becomes a bit cheap than using own conveyance. I visited most of the beaches on weekends and had parking problem as they beaches are more crowded on weekends. You can also go via bus but it is not a good option.
My Visit to Dubai Beaches
I liked to visit most of the Dubai beaches because their soft sands and white waters of Arabian Sea always welcome you. Moreover most of the beaches and coastal areas have palm trees which make the view more striking and beautiful. Some of the beaches have parks near them and more interestingly, there are many hotels and resorts along with the beaches to provide a comfortable stay and from these hotels you can easily go to different beaches.
Another thing which I noticed was that during the pleasant winter season the beaches become crowded with the people. I found that most of them were European and Russians. I will share my feelings and memories with all of you so that you may also be attracted and want to visit these beaches on your next holidays.
Jumeirah Beach
I visited Jumeirah Beach first. It is the most popular beach of Dubai because of Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. It is at a convenient location because it is at a drive of 25 minutes from Dubai City Center. When I visited Jumeirah Beach I was surprised to see that topless sunbath was not allowed there which to me was quite a good restriction. The thing which I liked was that it was not over-crowded with people. The beach management was also providing barbeque facilities. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy barbeque on the beachside.
Jumeirah Beach is one of the safest beaches which I visited. Children were freely playing there because the water was shallow and the life guards were always there to avoid any mishap. I went to visit Jumeirah Beach in winter and found that it is the best time to come here as the weather is cool enough toenjoy the visit. If you will come in the summer season you can only visit the beach at night when it is a bit cold.
Jebel Ali Beach
The next beach which I visited was Jebel Ali Beach. It was just 40 kilometers away from the Dubai City. I had my own conveyance so I didn’t have any problem in reaching there. When I entered the beach area, I was spell-bound to see its beauty. But this beach is not only famous for its beauty and peace but there are several other reasons for its fame and name. For example, many duty free industrial zones are positioned in Jebel Ali. This beach is also known for its Golf Clubs, hotels and resorts. Some luxury apartment buildings are also located in Jebel Ali which makes it even more renowned. Like Jumierah Beach, Jebel Ali also has calm waves so if you want to do some windsurfing, you will have to wait for a good and suitable day.
Another thing which I must tell you is that the Dubai beaches including Jebel Ali become crowded on weekends so if you want to enjoy a peaceful visit you should come during weekdays. Moreover Alcohol is not served in any of the public places in Dubai, so alcohol lovers would be a little disappointed for this. As the Jebel Ali is also a public place, so don’t expect alcohol there.
Despite of this fact, I really enjoyed my visit to Jebel Ali beach. I did surfing and enjoyed a lot. It was one of the most pleasing days of my life.
Mamzar Beach
My next destination was Mamzar Beach. It was 25 km away from the city center. Actually, it is a park of Dubai but one border of the park is with the seaside and hence it is known as Mazmar Beach. When I reached there, I came to know that I have to buy tickets of park to enter the beach.
It was a wonderful scene when I got access to the beach. It had barbeque facilities which attracted me the most. I am a food lover so I enjoyed this experience. It was a wonderful feeling to enjoy barbeque on the seaside. I found that Mamzar Beach was not just a place where you can play water sports or take a sunbath. It was more than this. Along with taking sunbath and playing water sports, I also enjoyed different green zones and relaxed under a tree for some time. It was a very calm and soothing experience. Then I saw some kids who were flying kites. I joined them and had a lot of fun. I saw a group of youngsters playing football. They invited me to join them. It was a great experience of my life at a Dubai beach.
There are lots of beaches in Dubai but I visited only the three famous beaches. My visit to these places filled my heart with a never-ending memorable pleasure.
